Zhang has also been offered special exemptions to complete in the remaining four majors of the 2023 season: the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship at Baltusrol Golf Club, the U.S. Women’s Open at Pebble Beach, the Amundi Evian Championship at Evian Resort Golf Club and the AIG Women’s Open at Walton Heath Golf Club.
Zhang has won the 2020 U.S. Women’s Amateur, the 2021 U.S. Girls’ Junior and the 2023 Augusta National Women’s Amateur. Most recently, she captured her second consecutive NCAA National Championship title, becoming the first ever back-to-back champion, and was recognized with the ANNIKA Award presented by Stifel.
