Five-star guard Keyonte George committed to join Baylor, he announced Sunday, joining four-star guard Dillon Hunter in the Bears’ 2022 class.
“I felt like Baylor was the best fit for me as a scoring guard,” George told ESPN. “They let their guards go. … Coach (Scott) Drew is one of the most caring guys I’ve ever met.”
George, a 6-foot-4, 185-pounder out of iSchool Entrepreneurial Academy in Lewisville, Texas, is the No. 2 overall prospect in the 2022, according to 247Sports’ Composite Rating. He averaged 23.2 points and 4.8 rebounds per game last season.
He was also considering Kansas, Kentucky, Oklahoma State and Texas.
