It’s “get your organization depth squared away” szn in the NHL right now! Which means all sorts of transactions are being reported almost entirely to CapFriendly rather than on the team’s social media pages!
If you know how social media works, you will know that is a good thing.
CapFriendly announced today for the Bruins that Callum Booth, a minor league goalie, has returned to the organization on a one year, two way, 750,000 dollar contract.
Booth was originally a Carolina 4th round draft choice who spent the first part of his pro career bouncing between Charlotte and the ECHL, playing for Greenville, Atlanta, and the Florida Everblades (which is the second coolest name in the ECHL), before joining the Providence Bruins last year, with a slight stop at the Jacksonville Icemen due to Vladar/Swayman monopolizing that tandem. In all likelyhood, he will almost certainly end up the backup behind Ty Grosenick or Kyle Keyser, or report to Maine to backstop the Mariners.
Regardless of where he ends up, we heartily welcome back Callum to the Black and Gold!
