With the Chicago Bears’ trade of the first overall pick, things are heating up ahead of the NFL Draft, approximately five weeks from now. Therefore, I wanted to look at a complete, seven-round NFL mock draft and deduct the fantasy impact of those predicted landing spots. I used Drafttek.com’s NFL mock draft from March 11, 2023. I’ll break down each position in order of picks and discuss the fantasy impact (if any) of the selections.
QUARTERBACK
The Panthers moved up to the first overall pick to select their quarterback of the future, and they paid a steep price to make that happen. I like CJ Stroud to Carolina, but after moving DJ Moore to get him, what weapons will the young signal caller have at his disposal? Currently, his top options will be Terrace Marshall, Laviska Shenault, and Hayden Hurst, with Miles Sanders out of the backfield. Again, I like the player, but it’s not a great supporting cast for a rookie entering the league.
